The invention relates to a bicycle with foldable handlebars and reduced bulk when folded, to facilitate storage or transport. The bicycle comprises a structure having a rear part supporting a rear wheel, a front part 3 supporting a front wheel 13 by a front fork 1 surmounted by a handlebar assembly 4 to 11 comprising two arms 9 and two parallel uprights 4 supporting by one end the two arms and connected to the fork by an opposite end.
