The invention lies in the field of the measurement of physical parameters by a multimode optical fiber. It relates to a system for measuring P physical parameters at one or more measurement points by one or more multimode optical fibers. According to the invention, the system (10) comprises: - a light source (11), arranged to generate an optical source signal, - a multimode measurement optical fiber (16) arranged to transport optical signals in at least M second modes predetermined propagation paths distinct from each other, M being an integer greater than or equal to P, the measuring optical fiber (16) comprising a measuring section (18) arranged to reflect the optical signals with a variable wavelength as a function of physical parameters to be measured, - a detection device (17) arranged to measure wavelengths of the optical signals reflected by the measuring section, and - an optical module (13, 14, 15) arranged to generate M optical signals from the source optical signal, the optical signals being injected into the measuring optical fiber (16) to each propagate in one of the second propagation modes, the optical module being furthermore arranged for tra nsfer the reflected optical signals to the detection device (17).
