According to this embodiment, a transport device comprises: an upstream-side transport unit that transports an object to be inspected to a transport path, from a transport direction which has shifted with respect to the transport direction of said transport path which belongs to a radiation inspection device that inspects the object to be inspected by irradiating same with radiation; and a downstream-side transport unit that transports the object to be inspected from the transport path, in a transport direction which has shifted with respect to the transport direction of the transport path. Each of the upstream-side transport unit and the downstream-side transport unit includes a blocking part that is positioned on an extended line of the transport direction of the transport path and that blocks radiation.
