PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a feed amount of an upper feed dog larger than a feed amount of a lower feed dog, while suppressing deterioration of feeding performance of a feeding drive part with respect to the upper feed dog.;SOLUTION: A sewing machine includes: a needle mechanism for vertically reciprocating a needle provided at a sewing machine body; a presser bar provided at the sewing machine body; a pressing unit constituted by including an upper feed mechanism having an upper feed dog for feeding a sewing object to the rear side and a presser for pressing the sewing object, and mounted on the presser bar; a lower feed dog arranged on the lower side of the upper feed dog, and for feeding the sewing object to the rear side together with the upper feed dog; and a feeding drive part for reciprocating the upper feed dog in the frontward/backward direction by operating. The upper feed mechanism has an interlocking mechanism for moving the upper feed dog in the frontward/backward direction by operating being interlocked with the needle mechanism.
