PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device that can suppress a reduction in detection accuracy while suppressing an increase in cost.;SOLUTION: A light source device 11 comprises: a light source (LD); an optical element (optical path branching element 118) on which light from the light source is incident and which includes a branching surface (optical path branching surface) that branches the incident light into transmitted light and reflected light; and a photodetector 120 that receives the reflected light. The light source and the optical element are arranged so that the number of p-polarization components of the incident light with respect to the branching surface becomes larger than the number of s-polarization components. In this case, there can be provided a light source device that can suppress a reduction in detection accuracy while suppressing an increase in cost.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
