PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent in advance, quick start of a vehicle which is not intended by a driver by stopping a drive torque by an electric motor, when the drive torque by the electric motor is concentrated on one drive wheel.SOLUTION: A drive control device 20 for an electric vehicle for transmitting a drive torque by an electric motor 18 to an axle 19, for driving rear wheels 13 each of which is arranged on each of both ends of the axle, for traveling, comprises: a differential gear mechanism 38 for distributing and transmitting a drive torque by the electric motor to a left rear wheel 13A, and a right rear wheel 13B out of the rear wheels 13; a control part 21 for controlling the drive torque by the electric motor; and rotation number detection units 40A, 40B respectively provided on a left axle 19A and a right axle 19B of the axle, and detecting rotation number of each of the left axle and right axle.
