PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire improved in durability in a groove bottom part of a groove formed on a tread surface.SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire has grooves 2 extending in a tire circumferential direction and/or in a tire width direction on a tread surface 1, and has non-woven fabric thin layers 6 made of cellulose nanofiber on the outermost surfaces of at least parts of a groove bottom surface and a groove wall surface of the grooves 2. Thicknesses of the non-woven fabric thin layers 6 are 1-200 μm, an average fiber diameter of the cellulose nanofiber is 1-1000 nm, and an average aspect ratio thereof is 10-1000.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
