An embodiment of the present application provides a semiconductor laser, an optical transmitter component, an optical line terminal, and an optical network unit. A semiconductor laser includes a substrate, a lower waveguide layer, a lower limiting layer, a central layer, an upper limiting layer, a grating layer, an upper waveguide layer, and an electrode layer sequentially formed on the substrate. The upper confinement layer, the central layer and the lower confinement layer of the filtering region form the core layer of the filtering region. The grating layer of the filtering region includes a gradient grating. In the present application, modulation chirp and dispersion of transmitted light pulses can be reduced.
