摘要

Provided is a microwave photon control device that includes: a first quantum bit and a second quantum bit that are respectively connected in parallel to a waveguide through which microwave photons are propagated; and a direct coupling between the first quantum bit and the second quantum bit. The interval between the first quantum bit and the second quantum bit is (1/4+n/2) times the microwave-photon wavelength (wherein n is an integer that is equal to or greater than 0). Quantum entanglement is formed between the first quantum bit and the second quantum bit. The direct coupling cancels out coupling between the first quantum bit and the second quantum bit via the waveguide. As a result of the relaxation rates of the first quantum bit and the second quantum bit and the phase of the quantum entanglement being controlled, a first operation mode, a second operation mode, and a third operation mode are implemented by switching among said operation modes.
