Liquid crystal display device (70), comprising:a liquid crystal panel (71);a light source (50);a light element (60) configured to direct light emitted from the light source (50) to a rear surface of the liquid crystal panel (71);a scatter table (72), which is configured to be positioned between the light element (60) and the liquid crystal panel (71), to extend over an entire area of the rear surface of the liquid crystal panel (71) and to scatter the light received by the light element (60), to radiate the light to the liquid crystal panel (71);a first reflector (77), which is configured to be provided on a rear surface of the scatter table (72) near the side of the light element (60) and on an optical axis of light received by the light element (60), reflecting the light to the side of the light element (60); anda second reflector (75), which is configured to reflect the light reflected on the first reflector (77) to the side of the scatter table (72).
