To provide a work support system capable of fully managing works by smoothing the transmitting/receiving of data among a work machine, a portable communication apparatus and a server.SOLUTION: A work support system 1 comprises: a fixed communication apparatus 4 mounted on a work machine 2 (an agricultural machine) and capable of connecting to a server 3 via a mobile phone communication network; and a mobile communication apparatus 5 capable of connecting to the server 3 via an internet or the moble phone communication network. The fixed communication apparatus 4 comprises a first communication part 23 to transmit data about works to the server 3. The server 3 comprises a second communication part 25 to transmit the data about the works to the fixed communication apparatus 4 via the mobile phone communication network. The mobile communication apparatus 5 comprises a third communication part 26 to transmit the data about the works to the server 3 via the internet or the mobile phone communication network.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
