Material fire prevention procedureThe invention relates to a material flame retardant process, which comprises the following steps:(a) Contacting the material with a viscoelastic suspension obtained by mixing the pozzolanic material with an alkaline activation solution of at least one soluble metal hydroxide;(b) Geopolymerization of the viscoelastic suspension;(c) Obtain flame retardant materials including geopolymers.The invention also relates to a flame retardant material including a geopolymer.
