Problem to be solved: to effectively prevent the hot air from flowing into the steering handle in the walking type snow removing machine provided with the driving portion formed in the running body between the snowplow portion and the steering handle.Solution: an engine cover 30 for covering the engine 21 and an exhaust gas guide 22 provided above the engine 21 to guide the exhaust gas from the engine 21 toward the lateral side of the traveling body.The engine cover 30 is provided with an upper cover part 31 covering the engine 21 and the exhaust gas guide 22 from the upper side, a cover portion 32 covering the engine 21 and the exhaust gas guide 22 from the rear side, and a lateral cover part 33 covering the engine 21 from both side sides thereof.
