a decorative layer comprising a base paper layer, an inkjet receiving coating and a pattern formed on it by digital application of inks from a set of several inks of different colours, that at least one of the inks contains pigments with an average particle diameter of more than 150 nm and that the ink beam receiving coating includes silicon dioxide pigments, where the silicon dioxide particles are particles made of precipitated silicon dioxide and/or silicon dioxide gel and/or have an average particle size,at least five times the average particle diameter of the pigments and/or an average particle size of 1 to 40 micrometers, preferably 1 to 15 micrometers, or 2 to 12 micrometers, where average particle sizes and average particle diameters are determined by laser light scattering granulometry techniques.
