Equipment for the automatic roll-over of fabric rails (1) on a large embroidery machine with a lateral tension device (10) for the attachment of the embroidery base with lateral side panels which extend the fabric rails (1) across to the first tension arrangement of the fabric waves emerging from the fabric rails, where the side panels are fitted with intervention elements for the attack on the substrate (1), which remain in contact with the edges of the substrate running between the material waves (1) during at least the rolling over,where the side panels of the side tension device (10) consist of at least one stop device aligned parallel to the side edge of the platform (22) on which a number of rotating, reciprocally spaced needles are mounted along the first tension device (23), and that needles (50) of the needles (23) in the angular angle (51) intervene in the material track (1) to span the same one along the second voltage device, running cross to the first voltage device (21).
