POSITIONING INFORMATION REPORTING METHOD FOR USER EQUIPMENT, USER EQUIPMENT, AND NETWORK DEVICE

The present application discloses a positioning information reporting method for user equipment, user equipment, and a network device. When receiving a paging message, the user equipment can report, according to indication of a positioning management device (such as an LMF or an LMC), measurement results acquired by the user equipment with respect to multiple received positioning reference signals. The positioning management device (such as the LMF or the LMC) can determine the position of the user equipment according to the measurement results of the multiple positioning reference signals reported by the user equipment. The positioning information reporting method provided by the present application solves the problem of excessive power consumption and waste of link resources caused by user equipment in an idle/inactive state periodically entering a connected state in order to report measurement results of positioning reference signals.
