Disclosed is an adaptive code rate adjustment method for multi-user interactive live broadcast, comprising the following steps: 1) calculating a target code rate of each pair of sending end and receiving end by using a non-linear programming method; 2) adjusting online update target code rates by means of cache feedback to eliminate system errors during modeling and measurement; and 3) clustering the target code rates on the basis of the QoE loss to obtain final actual code rates. In practical applications, statistics is collected on historical data of uplink and downlink bandwidth, prediction is performed, statistics is collected on the receiving caches of host ends, and next, a periodic code rate adjustment strategy is used, the adaptive code rate adjustment method is called at equal intervals, new statistical data is input, new code rates are calculated according to the new statistical data, and the new code rates are output to an encoder as encoding parameters, so as to finally form a feedback closed loop. In the present invention, the user experience of the hosts is maximized and real-time interaction is achieved by reasonably adjusting the code rate of each host end in a multi-user interactive live broadcast scenario and considering various constraint conditions.
