Disclosed are a belt breakage preventing broken-chain belt grabbing conveyor and a method for implementing same. The belt breakage preventing broken-chain belt grabbing conveyor comprises a conveying chain belt (2) and a broken-chain belt grabber (3), wherein the conveying chain belt (2) comprises a conveyor belt (4) and a conveying belt chain (5), the conveying belt chain (5) is arranged on one side or two sides of the conveyor belt (4), and the broken-chain belt grabber (3) comprises a broken-belt grabber shaft (6) and a broken-belt grabber member (7), the broken-belt grabber member (7) and the broken-belt grabber shaft (6) are movably fastened or arranged as a whole, the broken-belt grabber member (7) comprises a broken-belt tooth reverse rotation preventing member (8) and broken-belt grabber teeth (9), the conveying chain belt (2) conveys materials in a forward direction, the broken-belt grabber teeth (9) rotate around the broken-belt grabber shaft (6), and the conveying belt chain (5) smoothly runs on the broken-belt grabber teeth (9) in the forward direction, when the conveying chain belt (2) is broken, the broken-belt tooth reverse rotation preventing member (8) prevents the broken-belt grabber teeth (9) from moving reversely around the broken-belt grabber shaft (6), and the broken-belt grabber teeth (9) prevent the conveying belt chain (5) from moving reversely. The device guarantees safe operation of the conveying chain belt and prolongs the service life of the conveying chain belt.
