The present invention relates to a device for making openings in a disposal bag for a vacuum cleaning device, wherein the vacuum cleaning device comprises a suction head and collection container. The device is characterised in that it has mutually corresponding components, wherein the mutually corresponding components of the device have an open structure, wherein the open structure is designed to bring about pressure equalisation between a first region and a second region of the collection container. It is preferred in the context of the invention for the device according to the invention to have a punch and a die, wherein the punch is arranged in the suction head and the die is arranged in the collection container. In a second aspect, the invention relates to a vacuum cleaning device which has at least one device according to the invention. In another aspect, the invention relates to a method for making openings in a disposal bag for a vacuum cleaning device.
