The present invention relates to a method for producing fur and a fur produced thereby. The method for producing fur according to the present invention is a process of spraying a coating solution on the fur in a weight ratio of 1 to 10 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the fur, and drying it at a temperature of 70 to 80° C. for 1 to 5 hours to coat. In progress, the coating liquid includes a silicone mixture, polyvinyl alcohol, water repellent, natural insecticidal extract, illite extract, antistatic agent, and deodorant beads. With the above configuration, the method for manufacturing fur according to the present invention suppresses the generation of organic compounds (Volatile Organic Compounds: VOCs) that cause environmental pollution such as formaldehyde that may be generated during fur manufacturing, and has a beautiful appearance and a texture. It is possible to manufacture fur that can enhance the benefits of the human body by making soft fur and suppressing the generation of static electricity generated in the fur or the generation of fungi or bacteria that may be generated in the fur.
