The invention concerns a steering wheel (1) for a motor vehicle with at least one steering wheel bearing (2, 2'),which extends outwards radially, with the steering wheel (1) having at least one single-stage breakthrough element (10), which is located in at least one steering wheel space (2, 2') and in which at least one breakthrough (11) is formed, which extends from a front side of the steering wheel (1) to a rear side of the steering wheel (1), the breakthrough element (10) for each breakthrough (11) has exactly one wall (12), which circumvents the breakthrough (11) and extends from the front side of the steering wheel (1) to the back of the steering wheel (1), so that the breakthrough (11) is completely limited by the wall (12).
