An apparatus for executing a simulation on the basis of a digital twin service may comprise: a generation unit for generating a simulation model on the basis of model design data; an identification unit for identifying at least one intrinsic parameter for a generated simulation model and at least one input value related to the at least one intrinsic parameter; an output unit for outputting an expected output value which can be generated according to an input value from a simulation model on the basis of an intrinsic parameter; a correlation analysis unit for analyzing the correlation between an intrinsic parameter and an expected output value; a selection unit for selecting at least one representative intrinsic parameter among intrinsic parameters according to an analysis resu a collection unit for collecting actual sensor data related to a representative intrinsic parameter from an actual model built on the basis of model design data; an update unit for updating a representative intrinsic parameter on the basis of collected actual sensor data and an expected output value; and a simulation execution unit for executing a simulation by applying an updated representative intrinsic parameter to a simulation model.
