PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a heat source machine from becoming a light load and stopping, by performing quantity control.SOLUTION: A host controller is applied to a heat source system including a plurality of heat source machines containing a heat source machine configured to be stopped with a light load, and performs quantity control of the heat source machines by outputting an activation instruction and a stop instruction to each heat source machine. The host controller, when a load exceeding a predetermined upper limit to heat source machines during activation is required, assumes that the number of heat source machines has increased according to the required load, and calculates a load of each heat source machine after increase. Then, the host controller, when the calculated load of each heat source machine after increase is equal to or smaller than a stop load value, determines that the number of heat source machines is not increased.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
