The invention relates to a system and a method for a human learner to learn a gesture (5), comprising the following steps: providing the learner (5) with a plurality of movement sensors (6, 7) on a plurality of limbs which are predetermined in accordance with the gesture to be learnt; acquiring biomechanical data which are supplied by the plurality of sensors during a gesture carried out by the learner; analysing the biomechanical data acquired and determining a theoretical correction of the gesture by comparing the biomechanical data of the learner with biomechanical data corresponding to a target gesture; personalising the theoretical correction to form a specific correction from models of behaviours of the learner derived from a biomechanical data history acquired for the learner; transmitting the specific correction to the learner; updating the specific correction from an information item representing the sensation perceived by the learner while carrying out the corrected gesture.
