The invention describes a method for creating a roadmap for a medical workflow comprising the steps:- providing a multidimensional image-dataset (M) comprising a plurality of images (A₁₁, A₁₂, A₁₃, A₂₁, A₂₂, A₃₁) of a predefined organ (O) combined with a number of state-dimensions (D1, D2) characterizing the movement state of a moving organ,- providing measured pilot tone data (PD) from a continuous pilot tone (PT) signal acquisition,- determining a coordinate (C1, C2) for each state-dimension (D1, D2) based on the measured pilot tone data (PD),- selecting an image (A₁₁, A₁₂, A₁₃, A₂₁, A₂₂, A₃₁) of the multidimensional image-dataset (M) based on the number of determined coordinates (C1, C2) of each state dimension (D1, D2).;The invention further describes a respective system, a method for creating a multidimensional image-dataset, such multidimensional image-dataset, a control device and a magnetic resonance imaging system.
