Reconstruction of hematopoietic compartments and promotion of self-reconstruction

To provide methods for enhancing reconstitution of hematopoietic compartment in subjects in need of hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.SOLUTION: Disclosed herein is a method comprising: (a) a step of obtaining a group of hematopoietic stem cells treated with a composition comprising a MYC composition or a Bcl-2 composition or both for less than about 13 days; and (b) administering to the subject a therapeutically effective amount of the group of treated hematopoietic stem cells for reconstituting the hematopoietic compartment of the subject, where the reconstitution of the hematopoietic compartment is accelerated compared with the hematopoietic compartment reconstitution in subjects administered with a hematopoietic stem cell group not treated with the composition comprising a MYC composition or a Bcl-2 composition or both.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
