The invention relates to a method and a device for communication between a vehicle and a public land mobile network. To this end, the vehicle (10) transmits an identifier of a network segment of the public land mobile network. A determined service to which the vehicle (10) wishes to access is associated with this network slice and the identifier comprises a first piece of information representative of the type of the network slice. Data associated with the service is then communicated (i.e. received by the vehicle and / or transmitted by the vehicle from / to an entity of the network infrastructure) via the network slice between the vehicle (10) and the public land mobile network.
