A point exchange device 1 comprises: a storage unit 12 which stores digital currency information for identifying digital currencies which can respectively be used by a plurality of users; an information acquisition unit 131 which acquires an exchange condition from an information terminal used by a first user; an exchange quantity determination unit 132 which, on the basis of the exchange condition and the digital currency information, determines a first release quantity at which the first user exchanges a first digital currency into a second digital currency, and a second acquisition quantity, which is acquired by the first user, of the second digital currency usable by a second user; and an exchange processing unit 134 which executes an exchange process which causes the storage unit 12 to store the second digital currency of the second acquisition quantity in association with the first user, and causes the storage unit 12 to store the first digital currency of the first release quantity in association with a different user from the first user who acquires the first digital currency which the first user has released.
