25,405. Holroyd, J., and Bond, R. Nov. 19. Moulding bricks.-Relates to machinery for dressing, abrading, or brushing glazed or other bricks in the clay state. The shaft 4, Figs. 3 and 4, carried by the framing 1 and standards 2, has at either end a faceplate 5 of skeleton or open formation, over the surface of which a metallic sheet 8 is secured by a clamping-ring 9. The sheets 8 are perforated from the back, and each plate is covered by a guard which exposes only a portion of the surface. The bricks to be treated are placed on the table 10, and fed up to the faceplate. The shaft may carry only one faceplate, which may be inclined or horizontal.
