Hooks. -A device for suspending soldiers' accoutrements, particularly adapted for use in barrack rooms, is made with a plate a capable of being attached at each end by a pin-and-slot catch e to spring or hinged clips k, whereby it may be fastened to ordinary wall pegs b. The plate supports hooks c, upon which various straps and slings may be hung, and also two hooks d for a rifle sling or for a cane, and the bayonet is held on two tulip rests m constructed as shown either in Fig. 2 or Fig. 3. Instead of clips, rings l at either the middle or centre of the plate a may be used for suspending the device.
