[Addition to 10,158/11.] Kinematograph apparatus. - In apparatus using a band X marked with the appropriate words, musical notes, &c., travelling before the speakers or musicians, the moment for utterance &c. is indicated by the beating of a feather or like V6 mounted pivotally so as to fall forward when the lower end V4 of its support enters any recess on the band. This movement may be used to operate noise - pro-' ducers of various kinds, and to turn on lights &c. Means are provided for driving both the film and band in the reverse direction.
