Roofs.-A dismountable framework applicable for roofs consists of a pair of wooden or metal circular girders 1, 2, Fig. 1, braced by members 13 and connected by wires 4, 5, 6, 7 to a pyramidal or prismatic frame 8 at the centre. The skeleton is supported on poles 9 and covered on top and underneath with canvas, wood, zinc, &c. ; the sides from the roof to the ground may be completed by sections of canvas, wood, &c. Fig. 5 shows a plan of a modification having an enclosing square frame. Several frames may be connected together side by side.
