Continuous-discharge apparatus with moving containers.-In a machine for separating clover and like seeds from weed seeds the surface of which becomes mucilaginous when moistened, the seeds are mixed with moistened sawdust or the like upon a rotating table 4 above which are fixed a stirring brush or rake 39 and a series of curved plates 37 which move the mixture gradually to the edge of the table and eventually discharge it into a hopper 28 from which it passes to a separating-apparatus The seeds are fed from a hopper 20 by a screw conveyer, and water is supplied by a pipe 26. The dry sawdust &c. is fed on to the table from drying-plates 46.
