Litters and hand-carried vehicles.-A combined collapsible bed and stretcher comprises side-bars 1 detachably supported by end-frames 3 provided with pivoted carrying handles 7. The ends of the side-bars are received in sockets formed at the corners of the angle-iron end frames 3 by L- shaped pieces 4 and are secured by removable locking-bolts 5. The canvas bottom 6 is tubular and may be stuffed with straw &c.
