Harmony charts, modulators, dc.-A device for setting lessons in music &c. consists of a board 1 having a series of parallel strings stretched across it, and a set of cut-out elements 10 representing musical signs &c. and furnished with hooks 11 for suspension on the strings. The strings lie over ribs 2 at the edges of the board and are threaded through holes 5 in the edges of the board and secured to individual tensioning-devices at the back of the board. The board is preferably lacquered white. Groups of black strings 3 alternate with groups of white strings 4. The board may be combined with a cupboard having compartments for storing the movable elements and other requisites such as music books.
