Strainers for kitchen use.-A handle for a colander, or othe metallic household utensil is formed from a blank of the form shown in Fig. 2 or Fig. 5, the part b forming the handle proper and the parts b4 being twisted at right-angles and bowed out into circular shape as shown in Fig. 3 to embrace the utensil. The circular band thus formed is held in place by small punchings from the inside of the utensil body. Triangular parts b3 may be formed and bent so as to abut against the sides of the utensil and, for strainers, an auxiliary supporting arm b1 may also be employed.
