Seed distributors.-A coulter for a seed drill consists of two interfitting castings, a lug g and ring g1 on the bottom casting, Fig. 3, entering corresponding recesses on the lower end of the top casting, to which it is attached by bolts &c. g2. The blade c is wedge shaped, as shown in Fig. 2, and has a serrated part d adjacent to a horizontal part e which levels the bottom of the furrow. A bolt a passes through the seed passage f1, and serves as a baffle for the falling seed. The device is attached to an agricultural implement by means of a lug b, a lug b2 serving to support it against the implement.
