Fats and fatty oils, extracting by pressure. - In presses for whale blubber, meat, or bone, of the kind comprising cylinders 1 having longitudinal pressing grooves 2 and circular cleansing grooves 3, the grooves 3 are cleaned by toothed discs 6 mounted on a rotating shaft 4 as by a channelled cylinder 5. The grooves and teeth of the cylinder 5 and discs 6 are preferably obtuse-angled.
