Fittings, internal; boxes made from special blanks.-Folding cardboard &c. boxes for eggs, electric lamps, &c. having platforms in which apertures are cut in such a way as to form opposed tongues which support the eggs &c., resiliently have these tongues 3, 4, 3a, 4a, Figs. 2 and 5, formed by arcuate cuts which make the tongues longer than half the width of the apertures, the platforms being so arranged that the tongues bear against the adjacent top, bottom, or side of the box. The tongue 19, Fig. 5, enables lamps of different sizes tu be accommodated. The box may be formed with sides and ends folding up from a bottom portion as shown in Fig. 2. In the form shown in Fig. 3 two partitions 9, 9a are formed by bending a single blank and are arranged diagonally in a box. flaps 14 on the part 9a being secured by adhesive to the part 9. The lamp is inserted from the bottom, the cap of the lamp engaging in the aperture 15 of the top.
