[Class 88 (ii).] An apparatus for teaching children percussion band music or the like comprises a frame with a series of groups of transverse wires &c. h divided by vertical wires &c. i into musical bars. The time is shown for each bar by numerals n on the face of a polygonal roller c; this roller may be turned by a knob c1 so as to change the time by exposing the numerals on another face. Pictures or models j of the instruments allocated to the different lines are placed at the commencement of the lines, and the moments at which each is to be struck are indicated by movable models k along the lines.
