摘要
379,558. Printing combined sound and picture films. DASSONVILLE, L. J., 35, Avenue Paul de Jaer, Brussels. Nov. 9, 1931, No. 31011. Convention date, Nov. 13, 1930. Addition to 377,411 [Group XX.] [Class 40 (ii).] The process of the parent Specification, in which a single silver-sensitized layer is printed under one component colour-record picture negative, developed, resensitized with a different metallic salt such as ferric chloride, printed under another component colour-record picture negative, and developed again to precipitate the second image as a grainless coloured salt such as Turnbull's blue, is modified in the production of a combined sound and picture film by printing the sound record on the film after the resensitizing step. During the first exposure, the part of the film which is to receive the sound record is masked, and the unexposed silver salt is removed therefrom when the first image is fixed. After the film has been resensitized, the sound record is printed thereon simultaneously with the second colour-record picture negative, the two being recorded on the same negative.
