[Class 40 (iii).] Mirror drums for kinematograph apparatus, television apparatus, &c. comprise a polygonal body having plane surfaces upon which the mirrors lie directly, the mirrors being fixed by elastic clips. As shown in Fig. 1, each mirror 4, silvered at the back, is held down on plane surfaces 2, 21 by spring clips 6 fixed to the sides of the drum. Alternatively, the mirrors may be held by means of retaining rings 9, 91, Fig. 3, springs 10 being provided between the rings and the mirrors, or by bridge members 12 Fig. 5, secured to the drum by screws 11, each bridge member 12 extending over two mirrors, resilient distance pieces 14 being inserted between the members 12 and the mirrors 13, and the corners of the mirrors being cut away to accommodate the screws.
