[Class 92 (ii).] A corrector, for use with antiaircraft guns or with guns for coastal firing, which permits of direct or indirect fire at targets above or below the firing point, continually receives the data as to direction, range, and angle of sight of a moving target and automatically calculates the corrected data, such as elevation, lead and fuze graduation, for pointing the gun. The Specification, which does not permit of satisfactory abridgment, states that the data is determined by representing on the calculator the horizontal projections of the present and future target positions, corrections being introduced for components of target velocity, wind, air density, initial velocity of projectile and " lost time." The corrected data are determined by " following-up " movements which can be electrically transmitted directly to the gun.
