[Class 103 (vi).] In railway vehicles the undercarriage B of the body A is suspended from the bogie unit D, E by links 1 jointed by universal joints 2, 3 with the undercarriage and bogie. The pivotal connection between the bogie unit and the undercarriage comprises a collar 7 free to oscillate and slide on a pin secured rigidly to the cross beam C of the undercarriage B. The collar 7 is provided with trunnions 6 engaging bearings 5 carried by arms 4 from the bogie. Centring springs 9 are provided. Adjacent bodies and undercarriages may be suspended from a common bogie unit.
