[Class 38 (v)] A tumbler switch comprises a dolly 1 pivoted at 2 on a spring bridge 3 and connected at 6 by a rigid link 5 to a contact roller adapted, when the dolly is moved across, to move rapidly across the base due to the spring bridge 3. In the form shown in Fig. 2, the movable contact is carried on a link 8 pivoted at 8A and connected by a link 5 to the dolly 1 pivoted at 2 on a spring bridge 3. In other modifications the pivot points of the dolly and contact-arm are interchanged and are variously arranged above or below the bridge. Specification 409,202 is referred to.
