[Class 99 (i)] [See also Group XXXI] A swivelling pipe joint comprises a sleeve 28 secured on the end of a pipe 16 and journalled at one end in a recess of the socket 24 and at the other end in an end member 33 of the socket which engages a flange 32 on the sleeve. A cup-leather packing 32 surrounds the sleeve and an elastic cap 34 excludes dirt.
