[Class 5 (ii)] A nest box has a dished upper surface 4 formed of rubber and provided at its lowest part with an aperture 5 sufficiently large to permit the passage of an egg, one or more resilient tongues 6 projecting into the aperture so as to be thrust aside by the passage of an egg, and an inclined floor formed of pervious material such as wire netting. 9. The rubber may be reinforced. The nest may be made in hinged parts 2, 3 and provided with a handle 11. In some cases, the upper part is slidable over the lower part in the manner of a drawer, or vice versa. In another form, a single drawer is arranged to be slidable beneath a row of seats 4.
