[Class 120(iii)] In a modification of the device for teasing threads as described in the parent Specification, the teasing member consists of a block, in the interior of which is a cavity in the general form of a truncated cone, with an abrasive inner surface, and comprising parallel annular grooves having smooth walls. The section of the grooves may be square, semi-circular or triangular. The bottoms of the grooves may simply be machined, or they may be given a smooth coating such as varnish.
