A method for printing fabrics with transparency effects, which essentially consists of printing on a particular fabric design, which must be opaque, with a paste based reservation; and then subjecting the fabric to the corrosive effects of a bath of cold concentrated sulfuric acid to attack the textile fibers in areas not reserved or protected and so give a clear picture.
