[Also in Division E1] A bedpan-rinsing apparatus 2 comprises a closable washbasin with nozzles 5 and a hinged lid 3 and a holder 4 for the utensils to be cleaned, combined with a water closet 1. The washbasin may be at the rear of the water closet 1 and may have a common trap 6, subdivided by a tongue 6a (Fig 1) or a separate trap 9 therefrom (Fig. 3), both traps 8, 9 then leading into a common outlet 10.
